  Dear Marla.

  The timed keyboxes arrived today!

I odered four of them! I cannot conceive what uses I might find, but the boxes were only around $25 bucks each so I said, what the hell, and bought the four. I just know that, sooner or later, I might have some ideas for some sort of long-term program, which will require an extra lockbox.

I took James's advice and made sure that I ordered timed boxes that will go up to 999 hours. That's almost 42 days! When I was shopping for the boxes, I noticed many of the syles had only two digit places. 99 hours is only a little over four days.

So what devious 'program' could I dream up that would need all three digit places? Not many, but I can think of a few. One possibly that has always intrigued me is long term chastity. At this time, I have no idea of how feasible would it be to lock myself in a chastity device for 999 hours.

I would guess that hygeine and comfort would be the biggest challenges. Of course, as I am post-menopausal, the monthly mess is no longer a factor. Still, I wonder how I could , you know, clean some of my hidden parts properly. I am planning on having two one-half hour bathing periods each day. That means sitting in the jacuzzi while completely naked for an hour a day. If I had the belt on during those baths, would it clean my lady parts sufficiently?

The idea of sitting anywhere in a steel chastity belt is daunting. Those constructed of a rigid, locking, steel waist band joined to an unyieldingly rigid steel crotch band are probably particularly uncomfortable. They don't move or bend with the body well.

I'd get the kind of chastity belt that has an 'anal door' which can be removed once or twice a day for toiletting, without removing the entire belt.

Hmmm... I was thinking, maybe the chastity belt could be constructed of, say, straps of very heavy, industrial rubber with a lower elasticity than latex. Inner tubes from earth-moving equipment might be a source of raw material, although you would need to figure out how to bevel all of the cut edges, somehow.

But couldn't I just cut it with some heavy scissors or a knife?

Yes, I could, but here's the thing... Hevea would know.

(Sorry, Marla, this journal entry seems to be a lot of mind streaming. The words fall out of my head and into my fingers on the keyboard. I'm in an ideation state.)

One could create other, matching restraints of the same rubber. Perhaps arm and leg bands, cuffs, collars or even brassiers.

It would be important to seek out a well-polished type of heavy rubber. This stuff is going to be rubbing against skin for extended periods. The more polished the rubber, the less troublesome it is likely to be. Note that the polishing process involves buffing the rubber by the manufacturer. This is not the same as applied or spray-on shining agent, although the may be a helpful supplement.
